ACTION TO TAKE ON THE SITE OF THE EVENT 22SHEET Protecting the responders in the exclusion zone and the controlled zone The rule for the first responders at the scene of the event is to ensure that they themselves have the maximum level of protection until the environmental hazards have been identified.
